Ravinder
S. Thind - President and CEO
A technology veteran with an entrepreneurial approach
and a demonstrated track record in business, Ravinder
Thind founded cyberThink in 1996, after a successful
seventeen-year career as an information technology executive
and consultant. As the Chief Executive Officer, Mr.
Thind brings to cyberThink many years of diverse experience
in the financial, warehousing, logistics and manufacturing
industries. With a keen understanding of the disciplines
required to design, develop and implement successful
business solutions using appropriate technology, Mr.
Thind provides the vision and management skills to develop
and launch multi-million dollar commercial software
products and customized IT solutions.
Previously, he was an Executive Vice President at Transax
Systems, (a wholly owned subsidiary of the Journal of
Commerce and The Economist Group,) where Mr. Thind managed
the development, operations and customer service functions
for all product lines on mainframe, client server and
web applications. In addition, while at Transax Systems,
he managed the development and launch of a multi-million
dollar Internet based commercial product.
Before joining Transax, Mr. Thind provided technical
and executive management consulting services to companies
such as Citicorp, Bankers Trust, EBS Dealing Resources
(the largest Foreign Exchange Broker worldwide) Avon,
Baby Togs, AT&T, and Hoskyns Group, a premier software
consultancy in Europe.
Mr. Thind started his career in London, UK, with Hoskyns
Group as a software engineer in 1979, after graduating
from Thames Polytechnic, in London, UK. Mr. Thind holds
a global perspective on the business world, having lived
in India, Kenya, United Kingdom, and North America.
James Lombardo
- Executive Vice President
Having joined cyberThink as a founding partner in 1996,
Jim Lombardo has enjoyed a successful career as an IT
consultant for over a decade. Mr. Lombardo brings a
powerful mix of technology and management expertise
to cyberThink's management team. Previously, Mr. Lombardo
was a senior technical manager at Transax Systems, where
he played a key role in vendor relations, product development
and project leadership.
Prior to that, he was a customer service manager, also at Transax Systems.
Before coming on board Transax Systems, Mr. Lombardo
held a senior technical management position at Dun &
Bradstreet, where he garnered recognition for implementing
extensive design changes to various internal information
systems, an initiative that resulted in significant
increase in revenue. He began his career as a customer
support technician at Dun & Bradstreet.
Mr. Lombardo graduated with honors from Hofstra University,
earning a Bachelor of Business Administration degree,
in Business Computer Information Systems.
Bhavesh Adani
- Executive Vice President
Bhavesh Adani, a co-founder of cyberThink, brings over
fourteen years of IT consulting experience, specifically
in design and development of Client/Server and Internet/intranet
Applications. Mr. Adani is also highly skilled in the
areas of DBA, Project Management, and supervision of
software developers. He possesses an in-depth level
of knowledge in the financial, telecommunications and
transportation industries. Prior to cyberThink, he was
a senior IT consultant for the financial services giant
J.P. Morgan. Before Mr. Adani's engagement with J.P.
Morgan, he was a Systems Analyst/Consultant on account
with AT&T, and prior to AT&T Mr. Adani launched
his career as an IT professional at Automated Trading
Systems, where he was a programmer and analyst.
A firm believer in education, continuous training, and
skills development, Mr. Adani has worked as a tutor
at New Jersey Institute of Technology, and as a research
assistant at the Indian Space Research Organization,
in India. He earned a Masters of Science in Computer
Engineering, graduating with honors, from the New Jersey
Institute of Technology, and holds a Bachelors of Science
in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Gujarat
University, in Gujarat, India.
Michael A. Jablon,
IT Practice Director
Mr. Jablon
brings over 20 years of experience in IT-related industries
specifically business operations, finance and technology.
Before joining cyberThink, he has provided executive
level management and management consulting to the Financial
and Healthcare industries serving companies such as
Credit Suisse First Boston, Merck-MEDCO, Merrill Lynch,
JPMorgan Chase, Citibank, Aetna and Prudential. He has
also served as Chief Operating Officer for the EBS Partnership
(the world’s largest Foreign Exchange Broker)
and as President of Transax Systems (an Economist Group
subsidiary).
Mr. Jablon brings years of experience in mobilizing
consulting resources to meet critical business objectives
in highly visible and sometimes highly volatile projects.
He has spearheaded the launch of many commercial products
including the Electronic Broking System, a trading platform
designed to match Foreign Exchange trades for the global
inter-bank marketplace. In addition, Mr. Jablon has
a proven track record of large-scale project/organization
turnarounds, cost containment and quality/productivity
improvements.
Michael F. Dunne‚
Program Manager
Mike has more than thirty years of IT experience building
systems in the areas of brokerage, foreign exchange,
leasing and graphic arts. He has held consulting roles
in developing critical new systems for a major broker
and a major telecommunications company. He has initiated
and led projects that defined requirements for a hugely
successful electronic broker as well as building a multi-division
payable system for a major car rental company. He led
the development of new systems for a large leasing company
during a period of explosive growth. Mike has initiated
numerous process improvements and has led a Quality
Assurance department in delivering dozens of mission
critical software releases to thousands of foreign exchange
traders.
